Truthful Tuesday

I am sooooooo embarrassed
I have been tempted by way too many sweet unhealthy things
Not just tempted, I succumbed
The scales have shown me the awful truth This week I put weight back on! I am back to 64.7kg (up .7kgs)
To find out more about my challenge you can go here.

All photos are from BHG.com, you can find the recipes there as well!

  1. Hi Nellie, I hear ya sister!
I'm trying to loose a bit of weight ready for my holiday in a few weeks but the chocolate brownie I had yesterday or all the chips and dips I had on sunday are really not helping my progress. :)
You are very inspiring to me though because you're willing to put it out there so maybe we can think of each other this week and try to ward off those nasty (but delicious) temptations :)
    Have a gereat day hun,

  6. Oh, don't be hard on yourself. It is Winter so you're doing it tough if you ask me (plus who could resist tempting treats if they looked as good as those scrummy cakes?). Little fluctuations like that are pretty common I think. Just wait until the warmer months start to roll around. I bet it will feel much easier then.

  10. It's hard, don't give up! Dieting is harsh, I prefer pounding away on the treadmill rather than counting calories but I guess you need a bit of both. You'll get there..you have so little to lose..Rachaelxx

  12. Nellie,
It is a healthy temptation and it is not just you that goes through the tempting of something tasty yet not always good for us.

You my dear see through all this and it will make you stronger to keep up the good work. Don't beat yourself up over it, you only took a few steps backwards and it will make you stronger to move forward.

I know you will do what makes you happy and comfortable with yourself.....You go girl!
    Blessings

  15. Don't sweat the small stuff. Wait til Summer comes and the temptations are different (much healthier) and you can get out a bit more. You are courageous and inspiring to share your journey with us.

  18. Don't beat yourself up Nellie. We all succumb to a little deliciousness every now and then - probably every day if I am truthful!

  19. Don't stress about it too much mate, that sort of fluctuation can happen day to day for women, so although it's frustrating, don't be disheartened! I haven't had a very 'well-behaved' week either...
    Take care,

  20. Hi Nellie,
Who can blame you if you succumbed to deserts such as these!! Don't give yourself a hard time, you will just continue on eating right and exercising. Sometimes you have to give in a bit, you can't deny yourself everything.
Good luck and I know you can do it!!
    Sincerely,
    Melinda
